PITS is a 15-acre industrial transfer yard located within three miles of I-64 and is conveniently located near the Ports of Virginia. The facility (via the Bay Coast Railroad) receives service from CSX, Norfolk Southern, and the Norfolk & Portsmouth Beltline Railroad. Storage for up to 100 rail cars is available to reduce handling costs; warehousing and storage arrangements can be made upon request. We utilize both rail and truck-certified scales to ensure the most accurate weights for your shipments.
